BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/garnet. Touch of reduction on the nose. Very, very high alcohol, super-soft and soupy. Also a little dilute. Poor wine. 9

Jesús Barquín: Medium to deep cherry. Fine, not excessively concentrated, with aniseed notes and pleasant tannins but without great complexity. 14

Alex Hunt: Unappealing vegetal/gravy notes on the nose here. Sour acidity, like uncooked tomato paste, and rough tannins as well. This is very hard work. I’m struggling to find anything much to like here. 10
