Tim Atkin: Touch of development at the rim, but otherwise rich in color. Savory/developed nose, with some oak. Palate rather less impressive, with drying tannins and a bitter note; rustic on the back palate. A faintly gawky, clumsy wine that just doesn’t hang together. Cork taint on one sample; second one lean. 10

Jesús Barquín: Two bottles are opened, and neither is sound. One is more clearly corked than the other, but both show the same flawed profile. NS

Alex Hunt: Rather thin and grubby tasting—as if corked. Reduction, too. Two bottles tasted with consistent notes. 5 ·
