BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Straw gold, a bit sulfury on the nose, with some bruised-apple aromas. Medium-bodied, not very concentrated, a bit light and simple, but has freshness and zest, yet the finish is fairly short. 14

Margaret Rand: Much more open nose, quite earthy; a weighty, even slightly heavy wine. Very concentrated; an oily, rich texture; quite loose-knit. The finish is good but not outstanding. 15

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; honey, wax, very faint VA; medium-bodied, medium-sweet for the year; straightforward flavor, modest complexity, medium length. Good rather than exciting. 14
