Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Fresh, light, gentle, engaging; subtle lemony fruit lavished with creamy, faintly spicy, cinnamon-edged, softly meaty charm. On the palate, this is acid-incisive, but the purity and cascade of the fruit is impressive, and the liveliness and containment makes for a fresh, closely focussed palate. Great detail here, too. Tart finish. 14
Jancis Robinson: Pale greenish straw. Minerally nose. Tangy and fairly light and floral. Off-dry. Tastes almost like a dry Semillon! It has some real energy to it but is very far from conventional fine Chardonnay. Nice wine, though. Drink 2012–15. 16.5
Anthony Rose: Very pale in color; pleasant apple and pear aromas, and similarly quite pleasingly juicy apple and pear fruit, with nice freshness and flavor and a refreshingly tangy bite on the aftertaste. Hopefully, this wine is not too expensive, because it’s not really in the fine- wine category. 15
