BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Deep, non-opaque red. Refined, elegant, light and fine aromatic profile: true Pinot, delicately drawn. There is evident oak, but it is softly and sensitively drawn into the wine and supports the fruit attractively. On the palate, by contrast, this wine is mid-weight to light, structured around its acidity, and with a slight lack of fruit wealth clinging to that acidity; there is little palpable tannin, either. The overall effect is rather stressfully high-toned, lacking a little central-palate richness; the finish is a little stringy and tart. 14.5
