Joanna Simon: Fairly deep color but less youthful looking; no purple. Tighter, more savory, less open and floral on the nose than the Premium. Deep, brooding red fruit, fresh juniper berry, a mineral earthy note, then vanilla pod, mixed spice, and sun-baked stones. Fascinating. Concentrated, intense, and structured, with exceptional silkiness and succulence. Similar taste and texture characteristics to the Premium, but amplified. Rich but still tight cherry fruit, with a rose-petal edge and dark-chocolate depth. Persistent acidity underpinning greater depth and volume than in the Premium. Very long; very young. Can only get better. 18.5
