Tim Atkin: Developed garnet/brick red. Very perfumed, almost a talcum-powder-like note here. Spicy, figgy, some tobacco, touch of good reduction; fresh acidity, nice grainy tannins, well balanced. More of a traditional style, but a very well-made traditional style. Length and freshness. Figgy, sweet, yet refreshing 17

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep, nose a bit flat. Doesn’t quite work on palate, with acids here, tannins there, fruit suppressed though present. Not sure of possibilities of development 12.5

Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny rim. Open, mature meaty nose, with great finesse and hints of tar and mint. Very well-structured palate, with lots of tannins well supported by the compact fruit. A great classic wine 17
