Tim Atkin: Inky, dense, and concentrated. Big, powerful; high alcohol, lots of power and concentration, but pretty dry in style. Rich, oily, concentrated. Tannic. Again, beginning to dry out 11

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep, bright. Attractive, serious cherry and red berry on nose. Repeated on palate, with good acid level and firm but ripe tannins and creamy fruit. Long and attractive; has real class 17.5

Bruno Besa: Deep, dark core. Open tobacco, spicy nose with mature, slightly jammy nose, yet complex and mineral. Full-body palate, with balanced fruit and tannins and long mineral finish. A classic very well-made wine 17.5
