Tim Atkin: Youthful ruby red, with some purple notes. Nose dominated by alcohol, but there is some fruit hiding behind it. Palate better, but this is a big, ripe, almost Porty style. Lots of tannin, fresh acidity, probably very good fruit, but just a tad overripe and dry 14

Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive bright, youthful appearance. Cherry fruit on nose, good persistence and character. Ripe, rich, typically Aglianico wine, with nicely harmonizing acidity and tannin overridden by serious morello cherry and vanilla aromas 16.5

Bruno Besa: Black saturated core to saturated garnet rim. Spicy, open mature nose, with very compact red-fruit character; a touch alcoholic and rustic. Very full body palate, with huge tannins somehow supported by the jammy, pruney fruit. A huge wine that lacks finesse 15
