BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Dark, dense purple. Big wine. Some feral notes on the nose from Brett, drying out the wine. Tannic and raw and tart. Not a pleasure to drink. Dry, austere finish 10

Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive, quite deep color; attractively bright. Full, frank, fruit-driven nose; red berries, herbs, tobacco. Satisfying mouthful of fruit, with good balancing acidity and concentrated, serious, but enjoyable plum and raisin fruit on palate. Drinking now, but should improve with two to three years 15.5

Bruno Besa: Deep black core to garnet rim. Mature nose of prunes and blackberries, fairly closed yet multilayered. Full body, with huge tannic structure that is fairly unbalanced to the point of being bitter. Probably far too young, but unbalanced and fairly short with bitter finish at this stage 16.5
