Tim Atkin: Developed garnet/brick red. Nasty, oldfashioned nose, with some VA. Sweet oak, pruney, varnishy, and drying out. Too much VA. Auto-eject 9
Nicolas Belfrage: Dark, virtually opaque. A middle-of-theroad Aglianico, easy-drinking and fruity, but without much complexity. Very drinkable, while still being typical 16
Bruno Besa: Black core to tawny rim. Mature and rustic nose of dried black fruits. Full body, yet quite astringent and with green finish 13
