BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Attractive mid-ruby/red. Still youthful. Aromatic, plums and black cherries, with no obvious oak. Almost like a Dolcetto. Light for Aglianico, but fresh, quaffable, and well balanced. Nice savory aromatics. Firmish finish 13.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Color deep but not opaque; bright. Something salady about the nose, in the area of tomato or tinned tomato. Surprisingly aggressive acidity on palate, with sturdy drying tannins and a general lack of sweet fruit making for a not entirely positive drinking experience 10

Bruno Besa: Black core to garnet, ruby rim. Very exuberant red-fruit nose, yet just slightly green, with hints of aromatic woods. Unbalanced tannic palate not supported by the poor fruit. A big wine, with poor green fruit 13.5
