Nicolas Belfrage: Deepish but with characteristic rim. Quite diffuse in mouth, with acidity failing to keep it sharp, creating that Polo effect. Drink from 2012 - 13

Stephen Brook: Very deep plum red, with some brick tones. Heady plummy nose, lifted and elegant. The attack is soft, with a juiciness and plumpness that make the wine surprisingly forward. Has moderate tannins but not a lot of grip or structure. Juicy and enjoyable, but it needs more bite and zest to propel it into the top tier. Good, but far from great - 15.5

Jancis Robinson: Blackish crimson. Very rich, sweet compost nose. Round and rather easy on the nose, then a bit hollow on the palate. A slight hole in the mid-palate but attractive rosepetal aromas. Rather drying on the end. Drink 2012–17 - 15
