Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive ruby/garnet. Somewhat neutral nose, gives way to quite broad expressive palate with red-berry fruit and a little “tar,” and a touch of the florals lends it a classic character. Nicely balanced and complex; its length is impressive. Leave for a couple of years; it should develop well over a couple of decades- 17:

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny rim. Open, spicy nose, with small red and black fruits, roasted hazelnuts, rose petals, and hints of cinnamon and smoked red meat. Full body, with very fine tannins. Restrained and complex redfruit character, with long, fragrant, and intense finish. A superb, classic Nebbiolo that will improve at least for the next decade- 18:

Jancis Robinson: Dark blackish ruby. Very light but somehow tender nose. Lively, vigorous fruit with a very dry finish. Not that much fruit weight as such, but true, with some light leaf-mold hints. Drink 2015–23- 15.:
