Nicolas Belfrage: Super deep color. Lots of power but not a great deal of finesse. Is that what Barolo is about? Needs time; give it at least five years- 15.5:

Jancis Robinson: Very dark ruby. A bit “modern” on the nose. A certain transparency on the palate. Drying tannins—very firm indeed— on the finish. There is certainly considerable energy here. Very driven with licorice and treacle. Pretty impressive, actually! Drink 2014–25- 17 :
