Alex Hunt: A fairly traditional style, with bright cranberry and redcurrant fruit; a definite green element but enough concentration to balance. Crucially, the tannins are ripe, which makes the greenness refreshing rather than aggressive. Not especially complex, fairly light-bodied, but effective on its own terms- 13.5
Andrew Jefford: Clear dark red. Exuberant raspberry appeal but little beyond. Warmly defined. Warm, vivid, expressive, and fruity. Delicious, especially if chilled, but not a wine for leisurely contemplation. To be fair, there is a faint mineral counterweight but not much texture or intercellular fat- 14.5
Simon Larkin: Restrained aromas here, quite subdued. On the palate, it is taut, with a reserved berryfruit character. Leafy, fresh, with a lively acidity carrying the fruit in a youthful manner. It clips a little short on the finish. There is a deep, dark, lip-smacking fruit on show, freshly crushed summer-berry compote, with a leaner finish than anticipated. A young wine but perhaps a bit disjointed at present? - 12.5
