BUY THE WINE

Alex Hunt: Extravagantly eucalyptus-infused aromas, with redcurrant jam and camphor to boot. Full, concentrated, and focused, this wine makes an impressive entry on the palate. It finishes a little spent and dry, however - 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Saturated deep black-red. Warm, resinous and full: glowing embers in the fireplace (or under the barbecue). On the palate, the wine is vigorous, incisive, and penetrating. The fruit lacks a little freshness and width (there are some raisiny notes), but it’s remarkably concentrated and long, and there is plenty of extractive force here - 15.5
