Jesús Barquín: Medium-deep cherry. The nose starts off a tad heavy, suggesting overripeness. But that is not actually the case. The palate displays good finesse, Atlantic character, and great complexity, with a structure based on earthy tannin and promising acidity. Very original, and increasingly expressive as it opens up with air 17
Simon Field: Deep color; attractive mulberry and cassis nose; hints of eucalypt and mint, leather, and peat, more complex than most; crushed rock, blueberry, and violets on the palate but with a refined substrata of balanced minerality. Long and promising to endure… 17.5
