Tim Atkin: Mid-lemon color. Nice aromatics, with some aniseed, spice, and pear. Complex, with a hint of fennel, a touch of vanilla spice, and good concentration. Really nice wine that should age further in the bottle. Long and spicy 17
Jesús Barquín: Straw yellow. Complex, clean, long, with excellent (judiciously imparted) and balanced oak structure. Very good—one of the best of the tasting 17
Simon Field: A modern nose, with vanillin and hints of pineapple and quince. The palate is quite dense, richly textured, and flamboyant; expressive and rich, the wine has firm natural acidity and mid-palate elegance, the exoticism tempered by linearity and a rich food-friendly finish 17.5
