BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Mid-straw, with a slight pinkish tinge. The nose is a little flat and lacking in vibrancy and vivacity, but there’s lots of richness and depth and power on the palate, with honeyed sweetness, good, crunchy acidity, and some toasty, developed notes. My only concern is that this is fading a little 16.5

Jesús Barquín: Medium yellow, with green hues. Intense nose with good fruit development; laurelbay notes; clean, slightly off-dry, good acidity. Long 16.5

Simon Field: An attractive luster, with real viscosity and a typical nose of orchard fruit and almond blossom. The palate is a little straightforward, its acidity perhaps a shade concentrated. Despite its structural integrity and typicity, there is a lack of panache in the middle, and it finishes abruptly 15.5
