Tim Atkin: Vibrant plum/purple color. Again, very Cab Franc-like nose, grassy and refreshing, with some oak and a little bit more fruit ripeness than some. Tannins a tad rasping, with a slightly bitter finish. Doesn’t quite have the balance 12

Jesús Barquín: Medium-deep cherry. Pleasantly perfumed, with a riper and warmer fruit than the previous wines [the three reds from Forjas del Salnés]. Earthy texture and obvious but polished tannin, the acidity less edgy than some. Long, more extracted and creamy than previous examples—less Galician, if you wish—but in any case, solid, intense, and enjoyable 16.5

Simon Field: Deeper of color than some here, and with a generous, slightly cooked nose of blueberry and myrtle, this is an attractive and engaging example, its tannic structure not built for the longer term, but for early drinking it is a most pleasing prospect 16
