BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Mid-lemon/straw. Heavier style, some phenolics, spice, texture, concentration, good acidity, possibly a touch of oak. Good component parts, but the wine doesn’t quite come together in the glass. The oak dominates the finish 13

Jesús Barquín: Straw yellow. Oaky notes are conspicuous here, especially after the previous wines, where they were perfectly imperceptible. Sunflower and sesame seeds, reasonable acidity, good length 15.5

Simon Field: Quite a brutish oaky nose; the palate is a touch foursquare and slightly bitter at the end, the oak overwhelming the structure 14
