Ken Gargett: Undoubtedly, the bigger of the two wines (Bin 3100 vs Bin 3110),this has serious power and concentration. It is a wine brimming with life and showingnot the slightest inclination to slow down orsettle into a gentle dotage. Fully ripe andrich, there are notes of roasted meats, spices,a little chocolate, and coffee grinds. Alsohints of licorice and brambly dark fruits.Immaculately seamless and with a very, verylong finish. There is still an extensive tanninstructure in place. A muscular, firmlystructured wine that has many years aheadof it. Past notes suggest that it plateauedsome time ago and seems unlikely to begoing anywhere for some time. 18.5
