Tim Atkin: Light, pale, green-tinged. Aromatic, fresh herbs on the nose: parsley and some dill. Weighty, slightly sweet, with lots of spicy, ripe pear and honey fruit underpinned by acidity and tangy freshness. Very drinkable and typically Italian, with that classic, nutty, grape-skin finish 17

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Almost a peachy character to the nose, with a touch of viscosity to the mouthfeel, which gives it seriousness. Justifies the growing reputation of this grape as one of Italy’s most characterful 16.5

Alex Hunt: Very appealing aromas of summer flowers and cantaloupe, with impressive depth. After that, the palate is surprisingly robust, with some animal notes and peppery spice. Quite a complex wine, with a bit of a split personality 15.5
