BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Very pale straw. Youthful, weighty Vermentino showing good varietal character. Slightly sweet, almost Alsacelike, high alcohol, rich, slightly OTT and fat, but has enough acidity (just) for balance. Aromatic, perfumed 15.5

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Slightly perfumed nose and good weight/balance on palate. Good drink on its own but also with seafood 15

Alex Hunt: Fresh, mineral nose, with a slightly unwelcome sulfide stink. Really lovely texture on the palate: weighty yet freshly balanced. I hope the flavours relax enough to do it justice 14.5
