BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Mid-straw. Honeysuckle and pears on the nose. Sweetish, quite fat palate, with some lees-like creaminess. A bit of a wine of two halves, with the acidity coming late and dominating the finish. Attractive, but the balance is slightly awry 15

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Nose clean and uncomplicated. Quite weighty, not entirely redeemed by acidity, which is fairly fresh but on low to middling side for the grape. Correct; lacks excitement 14

Alex Hunt: A very pretty nose, expressing Pinot Bianco’s floral side, along with aromas of melon and white peach. There’s just enough concentration and grip on the palate, without detracting from the delicacy of the wine. The balance of flavors is spot on, and the finish is long and neat 16
