BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Pale straw. Some reduction and struck match on the nose. Subtle, leesy, nuanced aromas. Palate less interesting, with too much sweetness and alcohol. Peachy and sweet, with marked alcohol. Rather onedimensional - 14.5

Stephen Brook: Toasty nose, with pear aromas. Rich and forthright without being aggressive, with a good balance of fruit and oak. Concentrated and sumptuous, but not heavy or overworked, and there’s some limpidity on the finish. The texture is creamy, and the finish bright and persuasive. Quite long - 16.5

Alex Hunt: A soft nose, yet with decent focus. This is quite a butterscotchy, caramelly, bakedapple style, but the balance is there if you can handle the dominance of sweeter flavors - 14.5
