BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Pale lemon/straw. Reductive, some struck match on the nose. Understated power. Sulfides just a touch too marked on the palate, but this is a complex wine, with fresh acidity, good balance, and some elegance. Medium length, quite subtle. Possibly needs a little more time in bottle - 16

Stephen Brook: Muted nose, quite oaky. Good attack, assertive, a bit tart, and lacks weight and succulence. Zesty, citric, and quite mouthwatering but essentially one-dimensional and simple. Medium length - 14

Alex Hunt: Fairly ripe, with some vague hints of white peach. Decent structure on the palate, with a nice balance of acid to weight. The outline is there, but it needs to be filled in with some flavor! 14
