Tim Atkin: Touch of garnet/brick red at the rim. Developed. Very oaky, some reduction. A little dry and dried out by the oak. All oak and no fruit on the finish. Savory, spicy, lots of flavor, but still oak-dominated. Smoky bacon- 14

Alex Hunt: One of the few wines in the tasting turning garnet; this is a neat, gently peppery style now showing some development. The palate is concentrated and still vigorous and has acquired good harmony and cohesion, along with an appealing blend of fruity and savory notes- 15

Anthony Rose: Deep-colored, evolved, intensely spicy and peppery in Côte-Rôtie style. There’s an array of complex aromas and flavors here, supported by quite firm tannin and lively, biting acidity- 16
