Tim Atkin: Youthful ruby/purple, slight development at the rim. Eggy nose, with evidence of some reduction; possibly screwcap related. Reduction also stripping the wine of flavor. Underlying wine attractive and fresh. Shame about the fault- 11

Alex Hunt: It’s reduced, and it’s proud! In my view, reduction is a completely legitimate means of adding spark to Syrah, but this is overt to the point of being stinky and rubbery. It’s a pity, because the palate structure is lovely, refined, and detailed, if a little short- 11

Anthony Rose: Medium intensity of color, showing a touch of dilution; quite funky, animal reduced aromas; rather simple on fruit spectrum, with an underlying reduced meatiness and easy tannins; shouldn’t be showing reduction at this stage; not sure where it’s heading, if anywhere- 13.5
