Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc2. Clean, fresh, and floral in Olde Worlde style. This time it’s followed up by an appropriately zippy palate, dry but with plenty of NZ herbal/floral aromas held very well by nicely balancing acidity. This one you could drink the bottle and come back for more. Combines the structure of Alto Adige with the flavors of cool-climate New Zealand. Really good. Drink with fish, seafood, or light meats—or on its own- 17.5
Marcel Orford-Williams: Drier but a bit mean. Coarse, some length. No particular faults but no real interest- 12.5
Joanna Simon: Very pale. Fresh, light, leafy, mineralsmoky nose. Crisp, sappy, fresh palate, with green-apple fruit and a light smokiness. Medium-bodied. Dry. Expressive in a more Grigio than Gris style. Elegant and quite long- 16
