Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc5. Custard-apple nose, not strong. Very sweet, sticky, with layers of apple-pie flavor (with cinnamon) but rather low acidity. High viscosity with creamy toffee-apple flavors layered throughout. Remarkable wine in something of a different category to anything that has gone before- 16

Marcel Orford-Williams: Very sweet but lacking wine really. People from northern France will lap it up with foie gras. But not I- 14.5

Joanna Simon: Bright, golden, a hint of green-gold. Spicy, honeyed, apricot nose. Quite intense, sweet, apricot palate; clean, pure, concentrated; quite good acidity. Sweet, but could be richer and have more acidity- 15
