BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc3. Clean and fresh on the nose but not particularly complex. Some tannin, adequate acidity, but something of a lurch on the finish due to phenolics. Adventurous wine. The winemaker is willing to take risks; they haven’t all paid off, but good try. This needs food and could happily stand up to meats and game- 15.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Golden, burned orange, toffee. Full flavored, rich. Lacks grip a little and is a bit too oily. Finishes oily and short. Lacks fruit- 12.5

Joanna Simon: Palish straw, with a hint of pink. Lifted, sweet peach and apple aromas, with some fresh green notes. Rich, ripe palate; full, slightly oily texture. Spicy fruit flavors. Fresh, but could do with just a little more bite- 15
