Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc2. Nice ripe fruit on the nose, something like apple pie with cinnamon. Plenty of flavor and good balancing acidity; is it natural? If so (and I think so), this is a good facsimile of the best of Italy, with sour apple on the one hand and spice and minerality on the other. Rivals the [Westrey Pinot Gris Willamette Valley 2009 Oregon] but more Friuli than Alto Adige. Good apéritif or with fish at Chez Panisse- 15

Marcel Orford-Williams: Bready, yeasty, quite full with some sweetness. Lacks middle, though, and finishes a bit green. Not much fun, really- 13

Joanna Simon: Very pale. Ripe, peachy aromas. Fairly full, dry, nutty palate, with apple and peach fruit. Some acidity, but broad and lacking some definition and precision- 13.5
