Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc3. Faint pungency on nose—clean and fresh but non-specific. A bit neutral in attack, missing on mid-palate, then comes alive on the finish; good fruit-acid balance and length. Good wine, but comes in parts. Good with light meats and sauces- 13

Marcel Orford-Williams: Confit—a French term but one that describes this well. English equivalent might be candied fruit; touch of caramel; oily, slimy, dry. Not refreshing- 12

Joanna Simon: Pale straw, with a hint of green. Aromatic, stone-fruit nose, with some fresh greenapple and citrus; a whisper of creaminess. More creamy on the palate, with a sweet entry but a dry middle; touches of spice and pithy fruit. A little hot and lacking some verve and intensity- 15
