Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc5. Another ramato version, very perfumed and herbal on the nose. Has the apple/pear fruit of the genre, plus some cinnamon, nice acidity, and good length. Very well made wine for drinking on its own or with seafood, soups, and pasta with cream sauces. Good length. Only thing it lacks is excitement. Not quite balanced— one can’t say it will improve with time, but it’s good now- 15.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Very yellow, bittersweet fruit, dry, tetchy. Not unpleasant but somewhat coarse- 12.5

Joanna Simon: Bright, pale copper. Very ripe, honeyed, rather rubbery nose. Peppery, spicy, slightly rubbery nose. Hints of honey and citrus fruit, but lacks freshness and vitality- 12
