Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc2. Quite tight, minerally/medicinal nose without the floral; more Italian than New Zealand. On the palate, though, it reverts to New World style, with up-front flavors not really developing in the mouth and a sweetish, low-acid finish. Might become tiresome after a glass or two- 12.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Linseed oil. A cricket-bat sort of wine but without much hitting power. Too sweet and without focus. No middle, and a finish that seems flabby and barely clean. I don’t like this - 7

Joanna Simon: Bright; medium-pale. Fresh, appley floral nose. Zesty and bright, with sweet apple and peach fruit. Medium-light body, and more medium-sweet than medium-dry in style. Balanced by its acidity, but lacking real grip and/or intensity. A fairly simple wine- 13
