Andrew Jefford: Pale silver-green. Fresh, leafy, but also with a fair whack of that vitamin-B yeastiness I have noted in others in the New Zealand bracket. Adequately but not outstandingly attractive. On the palate, this gushes with lots of attractive, simple, overt citrus and passion fruit. Good enough, does its job, but not yet fine 12

Andreas Larsson: Youthful and vivid nose that offers a notion of minerality, fresh pineapple, and passion fruit. Fewer green notes and a really bright freshness on the palate; mouthwatering, with a good grip and fine persistence. Well made 15

Stephan Reinhardt: A hint of yellow again. Dense fruit flavors; rather yellow fruits. Aromatic palate, ripe peaches, tropical flavors; quite rich and intense on the palate, very mineral but also powerful. (I do not think we have had a wine with more alcohol from New Zealand in the tasting before now.). Acidity and minerality are well balanced by the extract. Rich and powerful Sauvignon Blanc that should be served with food 16
