Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold in color. A very overt, come-hither aroma in which the Sauvignon keys are ineluctably tugged into the tropical, low-latitude register: This wouldn’t smell out of place in Margaret River (except that many in Margaret River think that Sauvignon should be early-picked). Attractive: I like it. No one would ever confuse this with the Loire, and so much the better. On the palate, all of the above is true, and it makes for an exuberant and entertaining wine. It is, though, jolly sweet and pretty simple. It has lots of acidity and given the ripe, exuberant style I wonder if all of it is natural. Nice for a glass, but I’d have trouble helping finish the bottle 12

Andreas Larsson: Nice and intense nose, with a hint of complexity; well-integrated oak, nuts, fresh butter, and lemon confiture—almost Chardonnay-like. The palate is ample and serious, with a fine texture; creamy with plenty of ripe fruit that gets a lift from a ripe and juicy acidity. Very good length and substance—a serious wine 17

Stephan Reinhardt: Bright greenish white-yellow. Very intense nose, with some oak kisses; vegetable stock. Rich and oaky on the palate (new oak); fresh acidity. This wine tries to combine a reductive “steely” style with the rather “Burgundian” oaky style. In the end, the acidity remains aggressive, which the yeasty-oaky texture cannot avoid. Two parts in the cellar remain two parts in my glass today 13.5
