BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Quite a deep gold for this bracket. Simple, fresh, but rather banal aromas: bonbon and banana. The palate, too, is very sweet and simple, with all its flavor elements being those susceptible of winery lift. A poor performer in this company 10

Andreas Larsson: Sweet and floral nose, with hints of green apple and pear, bright freshness, and a gentle bitterness on the palate that offers flavors of citrus peel and grape fruit. Medium to long finish 13.5

Stephan Reinhardt: Bright straw yellow. Clear on the nose; passion fruit, slight aromas of cassis, very clear. Very complex on the palate, very mineral and straight. No sweetness, no oak, no aggressive acidity. This is a serious and complex wine based on minerality and salinity rather than fruit. It is more on the shores of the Loire than in New Zealand, though this is an undue simplification 17
