Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold in color. A scent of dry flowers, left in an airless room. Hard, driving, acidic, pungent, but ungenerous palate. There is lots of flavor, but it relies so heavily on acidity that I suspect this would be rather a difficult wine to drink. The squeezed finish has a little licorice. No real glycerol or minerality behind, and no middle-palate wealth to carry that acidic weight 10
Andreas Larsson: Another example that is less floral and more fruity with yellow fruit characteristics; good grip on the palate, rather bold with nice fruit, a medium high acidity, and slightly rounder mouthfeel than some other examples. The finish is nicely mineral and quite long— finely balanced in a richer style 15
Stephan Reinhardt: Clear bright yellow. Clear and fresh fruit flavors. Very rich and concentrated on the palate, very powerful, high alcohol level. Suitable just with food, this wine is on the border between overdone and well done. Mocha flavors in the finish. Very rich 16
