Andrew Jefford: Very pale: water-green. Light, sweet scents, but less varietal than many in the New Zealand bracket. I get more sense of a southern wine here. It has some of the soft crushed aniseed or fennel-seed sweetness you find in Mediterranean Vermentino/Rolle. Pretty enough. Fresh, light, engaging, with a passion-fruit-and-lemon charm on the palate. Lots of front-palate action but quite a short, tart finish 12.5
Andreas Larsson: A more discreet nose, with hints of elderflower, melon, and passion fruit. The wine is well balanced, with good purity, freshness, and crisp fruit. Medium length 13
Stephan Reinhardt: Almost white color. Very clear tropicalfruit flavors (passion fruit); dark berries. Piquant and a little bit sweet on the palate but also mineral. Not very complex, yet enjoyable. White peach in the aftertaste. Nice aromatic and lean wine. Straightforward. Cassis flavors are lingering on 15.5
