Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold in color. Aromatically, this wine is a little richer and more exuberant than most of its peers: Pineapple joins dessert apple. On the palate, it is, once again, all about acidity, with not a lot beyond that; once the acidity has disappeared over the horizon, taking the remnants of apple and pineapple with it, you are left clutching at faintly bitter straws. Acid dominates the finish entirely 10.5
Andreas Larsson: The wine is displaying a nice level of purity on the nose: some mineral notes and yellow fruit. Good grip on the palate, rather mouthwatering, with a balanced acidity, generous fruit, and long aftertaste. The acidity is lower than in some examples, but it still gives a good sensation of freshness 14.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Greenish shades: white-yellow. Quite sweet on the palate due to the high alcohol level. Very mineral and powerful on the palate; the aftertaste is quite cankerous. Again, the acidity is made for a longer storage, but the wine is simply too powerful to go a longer distance 14
