Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold in color. Rather unfocused aromas: vegetal, apple peel, a little sweet tangerine. The usual plunge of Austrian Sauvignon Blanc acidity—and the usual question: What is clinging to it? There is some green apple and some green grape, but I suspect that few export markets will have any appetite for acidity this high and this uncovered 10
Andreas Larsson: This offers floral aromas of elderflower, chamomile, and stone fruit; it’s rich and generous on the palate, with ample fruit and a juicy acidity. Well balanced and rounded on the finish; quite ripe, with a slight sensation of alcohol on the aftertaste 13.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Golden yellow. Matured fruit flavors on the nose. Very rich and south European on the palate, again: anesthetic and short. Acidity does not help keep the balance. This wine is much too rich 13.5
