Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold in color. Sweet, faintly doughy scents: quite attractive, though for me they might as well be Pinot Blanc as Sauvignon. A little pineapple and dessert apple. Similar fruits on the palate but brushed on to what is rather a hard, rigid base palate. A lot of aromatic pungency, but I don’t get the feeling that the fruit has achieved satisfactory ripeness. The finish is rather hard, bitter, and phenolic 10
Andreas Larsson: Quite tropical nose, with hints of pineapple. Fairly high degree of ripeness on the palate; rounded acidity, ripe fruit, and rather unctuous mouthfeel. Despite the lower acidity, the wine is dry, giving a good sense of freshness. Long and warm finish 14
Stephan Reinhardt: Straw yellow color. Intense and ripe fruit flavors, maybe also overripe. Broad and sweet on the palate, due to the rich extract. Is this a fresh vintage? I hope it’s not, since it seems quite matured regarding the fruit flavors. Acidity is still fresh but far behind the development of fruit 14
