BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold in color. Some grassiness, but rather taut and tight and not a lot beyond. No aromatic charm here. A round core of acidity, but not a lot of wine built on that core; little aromatic resonance—and in truth, not a lot of varietal character either. Just a stump of acidity. I would derive no pleasure from drinking this, I’m afraid 8.5

Andreas Larsson: Young and fruity nose, aromatic and fairly grapey, with notes of grape skin and grape seeds. There’s some bitterness on the palate, reminiscent of chewing grape seeds; otherwise a nice wine, with bright fruit and a crisp finish 12

Stephan Reinhardt: Pale color, green shadows. Earthy aromas on the nose. Quite aggressive acidity, powerful, rich, and racy on the palate. Lean on the one hand; rich and powerful on the other— and the acidity remains aggressive. Persistent pear flavors. Straight and powerful 15.5
