Andrew Jefford: Clean silver-gold. A little very delicate tropical fruit, but the aromas are shy in coming forward. Fresh, light, graceful, and attractive white blend, but this has to be an early pick in this location, and the wine lacks a bit of expressive force as a consequence. Not particularly concentrated either. A pretty quaffer. 83
Andreas Larsson: Pure and fresh nose, without evident oak, rather floral and grapey at first, with notes of stone fruit like yellow plum. A fresh palate with moderate weight, rather toned down alcohol, crisp acidity, and primary fruit notes. Quite a persistent finish, but still a bit young and undeveloped. 83
Jancis Robinson: Firm greenish pale copper. Honeyed, very Chenin nose. Some green apple, too. Extremely crisp, chiseled impact on the palate. Great lift and confidence. The Verdelho portion seems to be hiding behind the Chenin aromatically but is perhaps adding ballast to the blend. This is very impressive indeed. A delicate whole, with substance. Admirable amount of flavor and persistence for a 12.5% ABV wine. Seriously interesting. Excellent acidity. Drink 2015–20. 90
