Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold, but bubbles cling to the side of the glass, intriguingly. Raw, rather soupy scents. Acid to the fore on the palate, though softly enough, but there just isn’t enough aromatic interest and vinous core to this wine to put it among the contenders for glory, though it drinks well enough. If you are using a complex blend (especially if the vines are old), it should be to deliver a certain palate complexity, and that isn’t quite the case here. 83
Andreas Larsson: The nose appears rather youthful, with floral notes, and primary fruit like crushed apple and pear. The palate has good freshness, rather zesty and youthful in a lighter style, more grapey and straightforward than many, with good drinkability and freshness. 82
Jancis Robinson: Pale gold with spritz. Liquid honey and lime marmalade. Good tension with—surely?—added acid. Seems a bit more technical than most of these wines. Astringent finish. Racy but without massive terroir effect. Simpler than most. Drink 2012–16. 87
