Andrew Jefford: Clear gold. Rather kerosene-like: I didn’t realize Sauvignon/Semillon could have quite this much terpene force. Honestly a bit tired now. On the palate, it is also now rather a clunky blend, which needs drinking up quickly. 76
Andreas Larsson: The nose resembles a white Graves in terms of the grassiness; slightly tropical fruit, like pineapple, and a hint of roasted oak. The palate has a good bite; quite dense, with a finely kept acidity and mouthwatering sensation; notes of kiwi, pineapple, and ripe herbs; the oak is still present but not too obtrusive; a rather long and stylish finish in a distinct Bordeaux-style. 86
Jancis Robinson: Greenish pale gold. Very pungent green, somehow burnished and very interesting aromas, well melded. Particularly attentiongrabbing. The merest hint of reduction, but overall a high-toned whole that recalls baked apples with just the right amount of cloves. Intense. Broad and intensely fruity, with great balance. No hurry to drink this unique wine—not like any other Sauvignon/Semillon style I can think of. Long and complex. Drink 2014–19. 90
