Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. Serious and well made, penalizedby me for its sweetness and spicy notes, which Ifind a tad overwhelming. 85
Andrew Jefford: Bright green-gold. Slightly malty, tangyaromas; lacking a little freshness. On the palate, ithas a fine seething mousse on the tongue, though, and plenty of flavor depth and typicity. The realproblem is one of aromatic nuance and purity. It’sa good wine that would merit a higher score with acleaner and more pristine aromatic profile. 84
Andreas Larsson: Light gold, with a finely creamy mousse. Thenose flirts with sweetness, mixing yellow stonefruit with vanilla and melted butter. It displays highripeness on the nose, but the palate feels a bit onthe lighter side, with a phenolic presence, mellowacidity, moderately ripe fruit, and an unconvincingfinish. It feels like a complicated vintage. 82
